Getting In The Weeds

The paid spokesperson for the “pragmatic” Moyle Loyals, Brian Almon, wrote a “scathing” article (full of generalizations and lies) about a fellow conservative, me, and two leftists, starting out with:

“Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.”

(and then he proceeded to discuss people… read it here)

That being said, can we all agree that comments and posts like the ones below don’t help us move forward in unity and the discussion of ideas? Has the non-stop barrage of insults towards conservative lawmakers (the top 8 conservatives according to IFF and the Republican Platform Scorecard) all session been helpful to the conservative cause?

When will you write that article Mr. Gatekeeper? How about an article for those actually causing real division? What about the actual bad actors who are furthering the conservative divide?

From an outsider looking in, if you want to talk about “teams” (which I think is a horrible way to look at it), I’ve seen one “team” lay down their arms extremely early on this past session, if not before the session, and go to work for the people of Idaho despite being told they wouldn’t have any of their bills heard, and despite arrows continually being shot at them.

I’ve seen the other “team’s” (Moyle’s Loyals as he calls them in the photo below) attack dogs constantly calling the “Gang of 8” all sorts of horrible names. For the Moyle’s Loyals, it was about the team, not about the policy. It was about King Moyle’s team. That has become extremely clear. He rewarded them with a day of skeet shooting and fishing at his ranch just a few days ago.

But… the moment anyone fights back against Moyle, they have articles written about them or the attack dogs unleashed upon them…

What team am I on? I am on “Team Conservative,” and I hope Moyle’s Loyals will see the big picture very soon, rather than the one he wants them to see.
